| The interior of this car is the real attention getter. It is what really makes this Viper unique. I started with a custom designed and fabricated leather interior from Venzano Automotive. I simply had a body shop take the original interior out and ship it to Waterford MI (Venzano). After talking with Tony (one of the nicest Viper people I've delt with), we decided on the perfect mix of leather, color, and stitching. What came back (in a few months) was better than I could have expected! Originally, Tony had told me to make sure that the 1999 Viper Silver was used for the striping. This way, he could dye the leather to match. And you know what, he was right. The whole interior/exterior look is a perfect mix of silver and black (no, I'm not a Raiders fan!). To round things off, I purchased a lot of little interior items from companies like MGW Precision Ltd., Zero Altitude Flight, and Viperware. What finally put an end to my purchasing was the temporary insanity I suffered when Tony talked me into buying his $600.00 floormats (the best you'll ever see!). That was the point where my friends and loved ones came to my aid and took my wallet away... Here are some photos of what was done:
It's the Viper Logo that really sets it off.
These seats are a LOT more comfortable than the originals. I highly recommend them.
The entire dash was also done in leather. The rings around the gauges were polished like chrome.
Normally, Tony doesn't do the top of the door. In this case however it really needed it. This made for a more complete look. With this, pretty much everything is in leather now.
This much leather makes me almost miss my Pantera!
I also opted for the Venzano Steering Wheel polish.
Yes, these are the $600 floormats (I did get a VCA discount, however). They're wool and leather, and I only use them for car shows.
I wanted the console done a little differently than usual... |
