My 1995 Viper was getting on in years, so I decided to purchase a new one. To my dismay, I found that most of my local Dodge Dealers had a waiting list. On top of that, I wasn't impressed with the look of the newer models (side pipes?). At that point, I realized I had two options: Find a new Viper somewhere (without my beloved Side-Pipes), or take the $90k and do something silly like beef up my existing Viper. Being a bit eccentric, I decided to have some fun and give my old pal a face-lift!

I started by going to the top of both the "Performance Parts" and "Accessories" listings on the VCA Web Site and working my way down. At the same time, I went to the highest end body shop in town to see what they could do for me.

This all started on January 3rd, 2001 and pretty much ended 21 months (and $150k+) later. The following is a virtual scrapbook of what took place and comments on the various products out there for Vipers that I tried. I met a lot of very knowledgeable "Viper" people along the way, and could not be happier with the final product!
